The Future of SEO
While the digital world is always evolving with new tools, algorithms and strategies, one thing remains constant – the fundamentals of the user experience.
As digital marketers, we should always optimize for the user experience by giving people the solution to their problem as quickly as possible in the price range that they’re looking for.
Entrepreneur Life
Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. The reality is that you’re not going to know everything and you will make many mistakes along the way, but that’s okay because there is no one path to success.
If you’re just starting out on your entrepreneurial journey, you must be prepared to play the long game. Success is not going to come overnight, especially in digital marketing – it’s going to take time, patience, and consistency.
Here are some helpful habits for entrepreneurs to practice:
- Always read to gain more knowledge and insight
- Always test new methods and strategies
- Don’t judge a person based on their experience (or lack thereof)
- Don’t expect results right away
Pro-Tip: You don’t have to be great at everything. Pick one thing that you’re most passionate about and focus on that while outsourcing other aspects of your business to other trusted experts.
Building a Strong SEO Strategy
A strong SEO strategy should be built around the concept of E-A-T: expertise, authority and trust.
These three factors are used by Google to measure how it should rank your website against your competitors in their search results. There are many on and off-page components that contribute to building EAT, but at the core it’s all about showing up in a meaningful way that allows you to give customers or visitors what they want as quickly as they want.
